Job Description
- The candidate must analyze clients’ eyeglasses or contact lenses by measuring eye curvature, pupillary distance and bridge width using optical measuring devices.
- The candidate must obtain specifications for eyeglasses and contact lenses from prescriptions prepared by an ophthalmologist or optometrist.
- The candidate must assist clients in selecting eyeglasses.
- The candidate must advise clients on the use and care of contact lenses.
- The candidate must cut and edge lenses and fit lenses into frames.
- The candidate must adjust finished eyeglasses to fit clients.
