AMI Personnel is situated in Woodstock, ON and is hiring a Off road heavy-duty equipment mechanic to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Term or contractFull time. The schedule involves Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.
• The candidate must test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• The candidate must perform other routine maintenance.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.

Security and Safety

• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have their own transportation.
• The candidate must be willing to travel.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate’s travel expenses will be paid by the employer.
