London Rehab ( Milton, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Occupational therapist, community. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Term or contractPart time employment. Shift timings include: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must analyze clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews, and formal assessments.
• The candidate must consult and advise on health promotion programs to prevent disabilities and maximize independent function.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must possess a master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a home care or visiting care agency to provide support, assistance, and health services to clients in their residences.

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.

Security and Safety

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
