London Rehab in Windsor, ON is inviting applications for the position of Occupational therapist, community. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Term or contractPart time position. Required shifts: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must analyze clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews, and formal assessments.
• The candidate must consult and advise on health promotion programs to prevent disabilities and maximize independent function.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must possess a master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a home care or visiting care agency to provide support, assistance, and health services to clients in their residences.

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.

Security and Safety

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must be eligible for professional liability insurance.
• The candidate must be able to pass a vulnerable sector check.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
