Physiotherapy assistant

All Pro Physio in Delta, BC is inviting applications for the position of Physiotherapy assistant. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must assess patients’ physical abilities.
• The candidate must assist health care professionals as needed.
• The candidate must carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
• The candidate must select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations.
• The candidate must maintain clinical and progress reports.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of equipment.
• The candidate must conduct research in physiotherapy.
• The candidate must document patient rehabilitation progress.
• The candidate must perform general clerical duties.
• The candidate must schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.
• The candidate must manage routine office functions including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
• The candidate must teach and/or supervise exercises to patients.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
