Non-destructive test technician

Dimatec Inc is situated in Winnipeg, MB and is hiring a Non-destructive test technician to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Evening, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must conduct liquid penetrant inspections.
• The candidate must conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects.
• The candidate must interpret and document liquid penetrant inspection results.
• The candidate must interpret conductivity meters and visual indicators.
• The candidate must prepare surfaces for liquid penetrant inspection.
• The candidate must establish NDI techniques and calibration standards.
• The candidate must set up, calibrate, operate, and interpret magnetic particle, eddy current, liquid penetrant, acoustic emission, and infrared thermographic equipment.
• The candidate must maintain test result reports.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.

• The candidate must be reliable.
