NC (numerically controlled) machining tool operator

ICM Fabrication inc. is situated in Terrebonne, QC and is hiring a NC (numerically controlled) machining tool operator to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Day, Shift, , 07:00 to 16:15.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate and set up machines for repetitive machining operations.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• The candidate must enter CNC codes specifying speed, feed and tool paths.
• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.
• The candidate must read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• The candidate must examine products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• The candidate must ensure that the terms of lease agreements are fully met.
• The candidate must ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
