Nail salon supervisor

Top Modern Nails and Spa Ltd. is situated in North Vancouver, BC and is hiring a Nail salon supervisor to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must schedule events, programs, and activities.
• The candidate must schedule work.
• The candidate must arrange for maintenance and repair work.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must be the point of contact to handle emergency situations.
• The candidate must coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• The candidate must oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items.
• The candidate must prepare and submit progress and other reports.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• The candidate must train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• The candidate must perform pedicures.
• The candidate must perform manicures.
• The candidate must provide gel and acrylic nail extensions.
• The candidate must monitor staff performance.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

• The candidate must demonstrate leadership.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
