Ravine Mushroom Farms Ltd in Aylmer, ON is inviting applications for the position of Mushroom picker. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must pack fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
• The candidate must sort fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
