Logistics coordinator

P & O International Trading Inc. in Calgary, AB is seeking a self-motivated Logistics coordinator. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must compile orders and instructions received from customers.
• The candidate must develop specific plans to prioritize.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must perform general office duties.
• The candidate must compile worksheets and order specifications.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain progress and other reports.
• The candidate must communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations.
• The candidate must follow up on issues with work orders.
• The candidate must keep track of shipments.
• The candidate must maintain knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
