ENTRE-TIENS DE LA HAUTE-GASPÉSIE CORPORATION D'AIDE A DOMICILE is situated in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, QC and is hiring a Medical orderly to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must supply and empty bed pans.
• The candidate must take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
• The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• The candidate must make beds and maintain patients’ rooms.
• The candidate must supervise patients’ exercise routines.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and groom patients.
• The candidate must transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.
• The candidate must administer first aid in emergency situations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a home care or visiting care agency to provide support, assistance, and health services to clients in their residences.
• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in a nursing home/home for the aged or people who don't need to be in a hospital but can't be cared for at home.
