Meat cutter - retail or wholesale

Lucky Supermarket (South) ( Edmonton, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Meat cutter - retail or wholesale. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment - Part time position. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean meats to prepare them for processing or cutting.
• The candidate must cut carcasses, sides, and quarters of meat.
• The candidate must prepare special cuts of meat as ordered by customers.
• The candidate must cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• The candidate must wrap and package prepared meats.
• The candidate must weigh meats for sale.
• The candidate must price meat products.
• The candidate must sell meats to customers.
• The candidate must prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
