Cactus Exotic Foods is situated in North York, ON and is hiring a Meat counter clerk to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be efficient.
• The candidate must be energetic.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate must maintain a positive attitude.
• The candidate must be a quick learner.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
• The candidate must work in a butcher shop to process, prepare, and handle meat products while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
