Job Description

• The candidate must analyze market research data to improve business decisions or activities.
• The candidate must assist in product development.
• The candidate must develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising, and information purposes.
• The candidate must develop communication strategies.
• The candidate must direct the development and maintenance of an organization’s Internet and intranet sites.
• The candidate must direct the marketing strategies of establishments.
• The candidate must establish distribution networks for products and services.
• The candidate must evaluate an organization’s Internet presence.
• The candidate must implement communication strategies and programs.
• The candidate must oversee the preparation of written material for website content.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must develop promotional materials.
• The candidate must manage contracts.
• The candidate must plan and control budget and expenditures.
• The candidate must direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs.
• The candidate must plan, direct, and evaluate activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services.
• The candidate must coordinate special publicity events and promotions.
• The candidate must initiate and maintain contact with the media.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
