Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate administrative services.
• The candidate must evaluate the operations of a department providing administrative services.
• The candidate must manage the operations of a department providing a single administrative service.
• The candidate must plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
• The candidate must direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, or other administrative services.
• The candidate must direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the establishment.
• The candidate must interview, hire, and provide training for staff.
• The candidate must plan, administer, and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies.
• The candidate must manage finances and budgets.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
• The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
• The candidate's relocation costs should not be covered by the employer; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.
• The candidate should work in the private sector in any office or work area that is not open to the public in the ordinary course of business except by individual invitation.
