Manager, warehouse

Manpower Services Canada Limit in Mount William, NS is seeking a self-motivated Manager, warehouse. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must evaluate construction projects involving modifications to commercial, transportation, or recreational facilities, as well as real estate properties.
• The candidate must evaluate the operations of facilities and included real estate.
• The candidate must identify customers’ needs.
• The candidate must plan and organize construction projects.
• The candidate must plan and organize the operations of facilities and included real estate.
• The candidate must prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility.
• The candidate must recommend products or services to customers.
• The candidate must deliver sales presentations.
• The candidate must prepare and administer sales contracts.
• The candidate must consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.
• The candidate must direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
• The candidate must hire and oversee the training and supervision of staff.
• The candidate must oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of real estate infrastructures, including machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
• The candidate must train customers’ staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to handle a large workload.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
