Maintenance mechanic

A&R Plumbing & Mechanical Service Inc. in Mississauga, ON is inviting applications for the position of Maintenance mechanic. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must assemble mechanical equipment.
• The candidate must assemble stationary industrial machinery.
• The candidate must detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• The candidate must fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• The candidate must operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
• The candidate must install machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
