Maintenance mechanic

Chennai Caters Inc. ( Brampton, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Maintenance mechanic. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assemble mechanical equipment.
• The candidate must detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• The candidate must fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• The candidate must install machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
