Maintenance mechanic

Now hiring: Maintenance mechanic at Lennox Drum Limited in Ajax, ON. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• The candidate must program programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• The candidate must adjust machinery and equipment to proper settings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be involved in the maintenance, repair, and maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
• The candidate must work in a service environment, performing job duties within the setting, social interactions, and physical conditions required by the role.
• The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
