Stellar Machining in Edmonton, AB is seeking a self-motivated Machinist, CNC (computer numerical control). We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Day, Evening, Night.

Job Description

• The candidate must compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.
• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
• The candidate must set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
• The candidate must document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
• The candidate must maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• The candidate must set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
