Master Tool and Machine in Barrie, ON is seeking a self-motivated Machinist, CNC (computer numerical control). Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
• The candidate must fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
• The candidate must set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in the general manufacturing sector, creating new products from raw materials or assembling various components using physical, chemical, or mechanical methods.
