Machining tool operator

Orion Machining and Design Inc in Lloydminster, AB is seeking a self-motivated Machining tool operator. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate and set up machines for repetitive machining operations.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• The candidate must enter CNC codes specifying speed, feed and tool paths.
• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
