Job Description
- The candidate must check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
- The candidate must clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
- The candidate must cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
- The candidate must document work completed.
- The candidate must investigate problems and perform minor repairs.
- The candidate must lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.
- The candidate must read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in French.
- The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- The candidate must be a good team player.
- The candidate should have an eye for detail.
- The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
Work Site Environment
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

- The candidate should work for the metal product fabrication industry that shapes metal into parts or end products.
- The candidate should work in a sheet metal shop to turn flat steel or aluminium sheets into metal structures or products by cutting, punching, folding and assembling.
