Restaurant Les Mômes is situated in Montréal, QC and is hiring a Maître d' to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must advise on wine selection and provide wine service.
• The candidate must balance and deposit cash.
• The candidate must inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must answer customer questions regarding menu items and preparation methods.
• The candidate must attend to seating arrangements for large groups.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must perform opening and closing activities.
• The candidate must receive customer reservations and assign tables.
• The candidate must receive payments from customers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
