Long haul truck driver

Speedoline transport Ltd in Abbotsford, BC is inviting applications for the position of Long haul truck driver. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).
