Loader-unloader - material handling

Galaxy Human Resources Inc ( Delta, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Loader-unloader - material handling. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
• The candidate must operate various equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
• The candidate must ship orders.
• The candidate must pick orders and stock items.
• The candidate must weigh materials and goods.
• The candidate must make labels and attach them to goods.
• The candidate must wrap goods.
• The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
• The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
• The candidate must install, lash, and secure goods.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
• The candidate must work in a moving and storage company to coordinate logistics, transport goods, and manage storage operations.
