The Wooden Spoon in White Rock, BC is seeking a self-motivated Line cook. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan menus and estimate food requirements for preparation.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
