JMJ BUILDING MAINTENANCE LTD. in Nelson, BC is inviting applications for the position of Light duty cleaner. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must dust furniture.
• The candidate must vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate must clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate must disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect elevators.
• The candidate must handle and report lost and found items accurately.
• The candidate must pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
