Laundry supervisor

The Quality Inn & Suites Prescott in Prescott, ON is inviting applications for the position of Laundry supervisor. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must schedule work.
• The candidate must arrange for maintenance and repair work.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• The candidate must monitor quality and production levels.
• The candidate must oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items.
• The candidate must prepare and submit progress and other reports.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• The candidate must train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
