Land survey technician

Tatra Survey Inc. ( Burnaby, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Land survey technician. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must participate in field surveys.
• The candidate must assist in the calculation, analysis, and computation of measurements obtained during field surveys.
• The candidate must assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, charts, and plans.
• The candidate must keep records, measurements, and other survey information in systematic order.
• The candidate must conduct field surveys and operate survey instruments and computer equipment to measure distances, angles, elevations, and contours.
• The candidate must record measurements and other information obtained during field survey activities.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
