Maritime Hydroseed - Erosion Control & Landscape Services in Saint John, NB is seeking a self-motivated Landscaping supervisor. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Seasonal employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns.
• The candidate must hire, supervise, and schedule staff.
• The candidate must organize planting of trees, gardens, and lawns.
• The candidate must resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
• The candidate must schedule events, programs, and activities.
• The candidate must schedule work.
• The candidate must plan and direct grounds maintenance.
• The candidate must plan and estimate labour and materials.
• The candidate must plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must repair and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
