Landscaping foreman/woman

HML Contracting Ltd. in St. Albert, AB is seeking a self-motivated Landscaping foreman/woman. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must hire, supervise, and schedule staff.
• The candidate must organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
• The candidate must plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must repair and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.
