Labourer, sawmill

ARMAND DUHAMEL & FILS INC ( Saint-Ignace-de-Stanbridge, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Labourer, sawmill. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available, , 07:00 to 16:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines.
• The candidate must sort, pile, and transport wood products.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a sawmill to operate machinery, process timber, and maintain quality and safety standards.

• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
