Job Description
- The candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- The candidate must transport raw materials, finished products and scrap materials through the plant.
- The candidate must feed conveyors, crushers and other equipment.
- The candidate must sort, stack, bundle, and stamp materials.
- The candidate must assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing.
- The candidate must load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly.
- The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
- The candidate must assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- The candidate must be dependable.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be flexible.
- The candidate must have good judgement skills.
- The candidate must be a good team player.
Work Site Environment
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
