Smiley's Family Restaurant & Lounge in Strathmore, AB is inviting applications for the position of Food and beverage service manager. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant budget.
• The candidate must monitor staff performance.
• The candidate must recruit staff.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must determine the types of services to be offered and implement appropriate operational procedures.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
• The candidate must participate in marketing plans and implementation.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must manage events.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
