Cascades Canada ULC is situated in Kingsey Falls, QC and is hiring a Labourer - plastic products manufacturing to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Day, Night, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist machine operators or assemblers in the manufacturing process.
• The candidate must assist in setting up and dismantling equipment.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must transport materials and tools to and from work areas.
• The candidate must prepare raw materials for the mixing process.
• The candidate must monitor machines for jammed materials or defective products.
• The candidate must operate automated or computerized control systems.
• The candidate must ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must collect and record data.
• The candidate must assist in the operation, repair and maintenance of equipment.
• The candidate must perform housekeeping activities.
• The candidate must load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
• The candidate must make labels and attach them to goods.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be versatile.
• The candidate must be resourceful.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in data processing and computer services to manage information systems, process data, and maintain technological efficiency.
