Labourer - food and beverage processing

Everspring Farms Ltd. ( Seaforth, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Labourer - food and beverage processing. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. This position has been approved by the LMIA.

Job Description

• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.
• The candidate must transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
• The candidate must measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
• The candidate must feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers.
• The candidate must remove filled containers from conveyors.
• The candidate must manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
• The candidate must feed and unload processing machines.
• The candidate must check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
• The candidate must assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
