Labourer - food and beverage processing

Vegpro International Inc. in Sherrington, QC is seeking a self-motivated Labourer - food and beverage processing. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.
• The candidate must transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
• The candidate must manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
• The candidate must check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a fruit and vegetable processing plant to operate machinery, process products, and maintain food safety standards.
