Erie Beach Hotel in Port Dover, ON is inviting applications for the position of Kitchen manager. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
• The candidate must estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• The candidate must ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must recruit and hire staff.
• The candidate must maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must instruct cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
• The candidate must supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
• The candidate must prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
