Kitchen helper

Walkers Restaurant in Windsor, NS is seeking a self-motivated Kitchen helper. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must scour pots and pans.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
