Dairy Queen Marystown is situated in Marystown, NL and is hiring a Food counter attendant to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must place dishes in storage areas.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must keep records of the quantities of food used.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must handle and store cleaning products.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
