Kitchen helper

Wok Box in Saint John, NB is inviting applications for the position of Kitchen helper. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment - Part time position. Shift timings include: Day, Evening, Night, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• The candidate must load buspans and trays as required.
• The candidate must place dishes in storage areas.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
