Ironworker - reinforcing rebar

M.E.M Reinforcement Ltd ( Langley, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Ironworker - reinforcing rebar. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
• The candidate will be responsible for positioning and securing steel bars or metal mesh within concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.
• The candidate must unload and position steel units for hoisting operations.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
