BC Sprayed Insulation Ltd is situated in Kelowna, BC and is hiring a Insulator to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
• The candidate must fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• The candidate must install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• The candidate must brush waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials.
• The candidate must remove asbestos, ceramic fibers, lead, mold, and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
