Industrial upholsterer

RTC rembourrage is situated in Saint-Hubert, QC and is hiring a Industrial upholsterer to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, , 06:00 to 14:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must replace worn-out webbing, springs and other furniture parts.
• The candidate must lay out, cut, fabricate and install upholstery.
• The candidate must operate sewing machines or sew by hand.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
