Industrial sewing machine operator

Levy's Leathers Limited in Lower South River, NS is inviting applications for the position of Industrial sewing machine operator. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Day, , 08:00 to 16:30 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment.
• The candidate must operate sewing machines to assemble garment sections into finished products on a production basis.
• The candidate must operate sewing machines or sew by hand.
• The candidate must use sewing guides and tension devices to ensure quality stitching.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
