Industrial electrician

Superior Welding & Contracting Inc. ( Bruce Mines, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Industrial electrician. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• The candidate must test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
• The candidate must interpret electrical code specifications.
• The candidate must read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine equipment layout.
• The candidate must renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
