Industrial electrician

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. ( Winnipeg, MB) is currently looking for a skilled Industrial electrician. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices.
• The candidate must interpret electrical code specifications.
• The candidate must conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain maintenance records.
• The candidate must read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine equipment layout.
