Industrial butcher

Canadian Blast Freezers in Trenton, ON is inviting applications for the position of Industrial butcher. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or wholesale use.
• The candidate must remove bones from meat.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a meat processing and packing plant/establishment that protects meat and meat products during processing, storage, and distribution from mechanical, chemical, and biological hazards.
