Hydroponics labourer

Bamboo Farms Canada in Schomberg, ON is seeking a self-motivated Hydroponics labourer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Term or contractFull time opportunity. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must cultivate and manage vertical farming systems.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
